REGISTRATION: All Bidders wishing to participate in Live OR Online bidding must register with Reno Babcock Auctions, LLC (hereinafter known as Auctioneer), using legal name & current, complete physical address and mailing address. You must be 18 years of age and register with a valid Credit Card. By registering to bid in any auction, Bidder agrees to all Terms & Conditions, whether or not Bidder has actually read them. All bids are a Binding Contract. Bidder acknowledges that once a bid is offered, the Bidder shall be bound by the bid amount. Bids cannot be withdrawn or retracted.
By participating in this auction, you explicitly waive your right to dispute or reverse any charges processed by the auctioneer for winning bids or related fees. You voluntarily forfeit any rights to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes. NO REFUNDS, NO CHARGEBACKS, NO EXCHANGES, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid or Bidder, at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion. Any successful Bidder that does not honor any auction bid will be permanently banned from all future auctions conducted by Auctioneer. Auctioneer reserves the right for Auctioneer and/or employees to bid on any item.
BUYER’S PREMIUM: 16.5% Buyer’s Premium is in effect for this auction with a 3.5% Cash Payment Discount for local pickups.
INVOICES: Following the auction, Invoices will be emailed to winning Bidders. This email will include a Secure Payment Link to pay your invoice via Square. Once you have viewed your invoice, simply click on the “PAY HERE” link to open the payment screen.
*NOTE* - Reno Babcock Auctions does not automatically charge your card. It is Bidder’s responsibility to pay your invoice following the instructions in the Invoice email. This invoice must be paid no later than 5 pm Mountain Time Friday for anyone paying by card. Bidders wishing to pay cash during local pickup may do so at their scheduled appointment.
PAYMENT METHODS: Auctioneer accepts Cash, Debit/Credit Card. WIRE TRANSFERS may be required from any bidder, at any time, regardless of geographic location, at Auctioneer’s discretion. Bidder agrees to pay all costs associated with Wire Transfers.
Bidder agrees to pay in $USD, the full bid amount, plus Buyer’s Premium, plus any and all applicable sales tax, shipping/handling/insurance costs, and Wire Transfer Fees when Wire Transfers are required.
PICKUP/SHIPPING: We use Shipping Saint to schedule Pickup Appointments and for Shipping. Pickup Appointments are required unless otherwise stated in Auction Details. After each auction, you will receive an email and/or text message (812 Area Code) asking you to choose PICKUP to schedule your appointment or SHIPPING to let us know you need your items shipped.
FOR PICKUP: Click on the PICKUP button, then choose your preferred time from the available appointments. Pickup dates are generally Friday and Saturday following a Wednesday evening auction, but this does change occasionally, so always check this information in the Auction Details. If you arrive without an appointment, we will help you after we have helped customers with appointments. Come to your appointment prepared to pack and load your items, as Auctioneer does not provide loading assistance. Proof of payment must be shown prior to removal of items from auction location.
FOR SHIPPING: If you have chosen the Shipping Option, please ensure that all shipping information is correct. NOTE: We will only ship to the address on file in the Bidder Account you created with us. If you have a PO Box, be sure to include that on Address Line 2 in your account. IMPORTANT: Immediately after the auction, you will be invoiced for the items won. This invoice will not include shipping costs. This invoice must be paid no later than 5 pm MT on the Saturday following each auction. (Example: For Wednesday night auctions, invoices must be paid by Saturday of the same week.) Once this invoice has been paid, we will move your items into our shipping queue. Once your items have been packed, you will receive an invoice for shipping costs. We do local pickup Friday & Saturday following our Wednesday auctions. Shipping will begin the following week. For questions regarding shipping, please contact Auctioneer prior to placing bids.
All items not paid for by the end of Saturday pickup appointments will be forfeited by Bidder and subject to resale or disposal by Auctioneer. If a Bidder would like to request a different pickup date and time, it must be done by contacting the Auctioneer PRIOR TO BIDDING. There are no guarantees that Auctioneer will be able to accommodate this request. If your request is accepted, there will be a storage charge of $20 per item, per day (ex: 10 items x 1 day = $200.00 storage charge.)
Auctioneer cannot and will not be held responsible for any interruption in service, slow internet connection, errors, and/or omissions caused by any means, and does not guarantee continual, uninterrupted or error free service or use of the Auction Bidding Site. Bidder acknowledges that this auction is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning.
All sales are final. All property is sold as is, where is, with all faults, and neither Auctioneer or any Consignor makes any warranties or guarantees either express or implied with respect to the property, and in no event shall they be held liable or responsible for the correctness, nor deemed to have made any representation or warranty, of description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, source, origin, or condition of the property. Individual item details given verbally or in the auction catalog are opinion only and are written as an aid to potential Bidders. Auctioneer acknowledges that there may be errors in verbal or catalog descriptions. This information is obtained from trusted & reliable sources but cannot be guaranteed. Bidders are solely responsible for inspecting, researching, and/or requesting more images prior to placing bids. Auctioneer strongly suggests Bidder attend the Live Preview provided prior to Auction date. Photos are considered part of the item description. Bidder will rely solely on their personal inspection of items, descriptions, photos, or opinions given without holding Auctioneer or Consignor liable for any and all statements made. Auctioneer reserves the right to bid on any item.
If for any reason Auctioneer is unable to deliver any item, or any necessary documentation required in respect to any item, the Auctioneer’s sole liability, if any, shall be the return of any monies paid on such item.
